ABOUT

I did consider writing this in third person so I sounded more important but here we are. I just really love art in all forms; songwriting, painting, poetry, sketching, digital art & photography. I like a little bit of everything and this evidently helps me never run out of creative inspiration. 

I grew up on a farm in the high country of New Zealand and for as long as I can remember, I have loved country music and cowboy culture. The majority of my motivation and ideas come from the great outdoors, good old fashioned fresh air and nature, all of which are usually evident in my work.

Why "Kate Snake," you ask? I was bit by a Timber Rattlesnake in Kentucky while fly fishing a few years back. Don't worry - I caught that bastard, skinned him, and now I wear him around as boots.
